The East Kent Outcome System in practice: A team approach to improve and demonstrate clinical effectiveness

Allied health professionals (AHPs) and service managers in all settings will gain a working knowledge of the East Kent Outcome System (EKOS), a tool to develop clinical decision-making and care-planning, while analysing and demonstrating the impact of intervention through routine case-management, data-collection and reporting.

If anyone is commissioning for outcomes, EKOS combines outcome indicators (for example, client report, goal-setting, Therapy Outcome Measures - TOMs,  Goal Attainment Scale - GAS) to produce a single measure of clinical effectiveness.
