The Music and Mood Occupational Therapy Group has previously ran at the Recovery College and is now being shared for OT Week to promote the use of music and how it can have a positive impact on our mood, and overall mental health and well-being.
A "positive playlists" will be created, consisting of uplifting songs, which individuals will be able to use as a tool when feeling low in mood and are in need of comfort or a lift. The group is a discussion group and aims to encourage people to share their thoughts and favourite types of music, as well as positive, joyful memories attached to it.
