Due to the successful growth of our postgraduate portfolio at pre and post registration, we are now seeking to appoint a lecturer in occupational therapy and a teaching and learning assistant in occupational therapy to join the school of health professions. We offer a range of programmes delivered in modern facilities and we have a growing reputation in learning, teaching, research and enterprise with excellent student feedback ratings.
As the lecturer in occupational therapy, you will have expertise and experience in occupational therapy and in the innovative delivery of health and care professions education to both postgraduate and undergraduate learners.
This post would particularly suit an occupational therapist with relevant experience and expertise in neurology as it is hoped to assist the delivery of postgraduate neurology based modules. You will have an active interest in curriculum development and research. You will be a team player who wants to work as part of an experienced and dedicated group of colleagues. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills and be able to liaise with a range of stakeholders. You will have a higher degree in a relevant subject, preferably at doctoral level and a track record of supporting learners at post-registration level. You will be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council or eligible for registration.
