As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we have recently created a Resident Services Division within the Housing Directorate that will oversee the management of our 17,000 secure, leasehold and temporary housing properties. We are now looking for like-minded, driven individuals with the necessary experience to take on these new and exciting challenges.
We are looking for highly skilled occupational therapists (registered with the Health and Care Professions Council) who as part of a newly formed team will be delivering a robust, efficient and highly customer-focused occupational therapy service to the residents of Hounslow.
This post is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to the newly created Specialist Housing Service which aims to provide advice, support and assistance to disabled and vulnerable residents in Hounslow.
This role will be to provide a range of occupational therapy services including recommendations for home adaptations, assessments and reports for re-housing tenants and working with the Lettings Team to match people to properties. It may also include provision of equipment and tele-care solutions.
A commitment to delivering high quality customer care is essential, as is working as part of a team, being flexible and having the ability to empathise with older and vulnerable people as well as children. You should also possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be able to deliver excellent results working under pressure.
