The Challenge
Occupational therapists with a shared interest in research, working in different organisations, felt isolated. They were uncertain how to implement evidence-based practice, develop research ideas and gain more research skills and experience.
The Change
We set up a local network to meet face to face and connect on social media. We now support each other by sharing our experiences and knowledge to collaborate, advise and inform others.
The Impact
73 members, 483 Twitter followers. We feel connected and supported. We have developed local research capacity, many of us have now presented at conferences, gained funding/awards, got published and implemented evidence based practice.
