Student Resources

Resources to support your learning and professional development

We are aware that you're grappling with assignments, attending practice placements and getting to grips with the theory behind the profession. Student membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) will provide you with a range of resources and support.

I would highly recommend becoming a member of BAOT, particularly as a student. Having joined during my 2nd year of study, and utilising the wealth of online resources available, I noticed an improvement in my grades and a much greater knowledge of policy, guidance and evidence which informs practice. It is also really cheap for students!

In addition to the resources on the website, there are lots of other opportunities to get more involved in your professional community. As a student member you can also get involved in your RCOT region and participate in events such as Annual Conference.

Once your RCOT student membership has been activated you will be able to log in to member resources.

Visit the Student Research page to get a taste of the resources available to student members of RCOT, including a free resource on conducting research as a student.
