The Challenge
People with lingering post COVID-19 symptoms including ‘brain fog’, fatigue and breathlessness were struggling to return to work.
The Change
We have adapted our neurology specialist vocational rehabilitation service to support people with post COVID-19 symptoms. We are providing assessments and ‘AHP Health and Work reports’ with rehabilitation to support people to return to work.
The Impact
Patients are returning to work with increased knowledge about fatigue management and strategies to support cognition. We are also providing education to employers about how they can best support their employees.
