The Challenge
The use of power mobility to access play for children with significant motor skill difficulties was generally limited to their indoor educational environment. There was no outdoor community play opportunity that allowed these children to play alongs
The Change
A bookable (free of charge) power mobility device called a Drivedeck was installed within a local destination play park.
The Impact
Children and young people with significant motor difficulties are now able to participate in outdoor play along their peers and siblings.
