The Challenge
The run up to Christmas in the middle of a pandemic was challenging! The department was unable to have the usual Christmas decorations to boost morale for staff and patients. The team were working tirelessly, as they had been since March.
The Change
I created the 'Christmas Tree of Positivity'. Everyone was able to decorate the tree with something they appreciated about other team members. The tree was filled with lovely, inspiring messages which could be admired throughout the Christmas period.
The Impact
The team were given an opportunity to reflect on the triumphs of such a challenging year. This boosted morale and helped people recognise their incredible achievements and amazing patient outcomes despite the pandemic.
