The Challenge
Computer difficulties and social distancing were making collaborative report writing between members of the multidisciplinary team lengthy and frustrating. Families were experiencing extended periods waiting for their child's report.
The Change
I introduced the 'share' function of Microsoft 365 to the team and showed them how it enables collaborative real-time editing. I taught them how to use the function and importantly how it ensures information governance is maintained.
The Impact
Team members are now effectively able to contribute to report writing, within a shorter timeframe whilst maintaining social distancing. Families spend less time in the waiting room, reducing the opportunity for anxiety levels to rise.
