Member logo and post-nominals
As a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists you are entitled to use the Member of RCOT logo and post-nominal letters.
This demonstrates that you are a member of the body that sets the professional and educational standards for occupational therapy in the UK.
Member of RCOT logo
The logo has been designed to be simple, versatile, and distinctive and can be used on marketing materials, stationery, websites, email signatures and other digital media.
Please note the MRCOT logo is for individual member use only and must not be used to represent entire practices or premises. To use the logo you must be a current member of RCOT and abide by our terms and conditions of use.

Post-nominals
As a member or fellow of RCOT, you have the option to use the post-nominal lettering MRCOT or FRCOT to denote that you are a member.
There is a specific order of how post-nominal letters which usually follow those that are conferred by the Queen, followed by academic degrees and then fellowships and membership of a society, for example:
- Julia Smith MBE BSc MRCOT (Member of the British Empire and a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists)
- Julia Smith MSc FRCOT (Member with a Masters and a fellow of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists)
- Julia Smith BSc MRCOT (Member with a Bachelor level degree).
