Join us on the first day of OT Week as we launch our new campaign:

Right Support, Right Time – Unlocking the Power of OT

Whether you're an experienced OT, a student, or part of the wider OT community, this is your chance to connect, be inspired and help drive change.

This inspiring panel event brings together leading occupational therapists from across the UK to explore how the profession can lead the shift from crisis-driven care to prevention and early intervention.

Hosted by Karin Orman, RCOT’s Director of Practice and Innovation, the session will spotlight leadership, vision and practical action. You’ll hear from occupational therapists working in diverse settings across England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland, sharing their insights on:

  • Building leadership identity and confidence
  • Championing prevention-focused approaches
  • Real-life examples of early OT intervention making a difference
  • How we can shape the future of the profession – aiming for 2035 and beyond

Pressures on health and social care are rising, and occupational therapy is already making a difference,  but we need to be at the decision-making table, not just talking about it from the sidelines.

This is a great opportunity to share practical experiences and learn how others are embedding prevention into their services. Universal approaches can be truly specialist when we get them right.
