Education Enhancement Advisor vacancy
Education Enhancement Advisor
We are redefining the way we assure quality education and early careers support. As the UK’s professional body for occupational therapy we’ve championed the profession and the people behind it for over 90 years; and today, we are thriving with over 36,000 members.
We work with more than 50 providers of occupational therapy pre-registration education. Our Learning and development standards for pre-registration education accreditation describe the expectations of the profession that education providers must meet when delivering an occupational therapy pre-registration programme in the UK. Our accreditation process uses these Standards to ensure quality in our providers’ programme design and delivery.
We are looking for a new Education Enhancement Advisors to start on 1 September 2025. You’ll work closely with the Education team to assure and enhance the quality of pre-registration occupational therapy education and transition to early career.
Your experience and knowledge of occupational therapy pre-registration education within a contemporary higher education setting will enable you to deliver both an efficient education enhancement service, and a portfolio of projects aligned to the current and future needs of the populations we work with. It is an exciting time for occupational therapy pre-registration education as we re-imagine our enhancement and quality assurance mechanisms.
This role will be ideal for you as an occupational therapist and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (or international equivalent). You will have project management experience and demonstrated experience of facilitating developmental conversations and flexible interpersonal skills to communicate to colleagues and external stakeholders. With an enthusiasm to live and model our values across all areas of work, you will set a visible example to colleagues in behaviours, actions and solution finding perspectives.
These roles require some travel and overnight stays within the UK.
