About the online event
This webinar will explore how growth-based career conversations can support occupational therapists to reflect on their strengths, identify development opportunities (across the four pillars of practice), and plan meaningful and personalised next steps in their careers. It will offer practical ideas, embedded in occupational therapy theory, for creating supportive, future-focused discussions that build confidence, encourage curiosity, and help individuals to own and thrive at every stage of their career.

- Introduce the concept of growth-based career planning
- Apply the Kawa Model as an evidence-based framework for growth-based career conversations
- Invite participants to identify ways the concepts and model can be used within their own careers and for those they support

Dr Stephanie Tempest
Dr Stephanie Tempest is an occupational therapist, educator, author and workforce development specialist who is passionate about helping people grow and thrive in their careers. With a strong focus on professional development, preceptorship and career planning at all levels, she supports practitioners across the allied health professions to explore meaningful, personalised pathways through the four pillars of practice. Stephanie brings a thoughtful, encouraging approach to career development and is committed to creating inclusive, strengths-based conversations that build confidence, spark curiosity and help people see what is possible for their future.

The standard ticket price for members is £50 and £15 for learners.

What you need to know about paying for your ticket
All bookings need pre-payment. Your place at the event is not confirmed until we receive full pre-payment. We only accept payment by credit card (excluding AMEX) and debit card. We don't accept purchase orders or issue invoices.
Cancellation and substitutions: Cancellations made up until 25th August will incur a charge of 30% of the registration fee. Cancellations made between 25 August - 14 September inclusive will incur a charge of 70% of the registration fee. Cancellations after 14 September and on the day of the event or ‘no shows’ will not be refunded.
