Cafe aim
To provide a safe, peer-led space for early career lecturers to share experiences, explore teaching practices and build confidence in their academic role. Our first topic is 'Navigating the identity shift from expert practitioner to novice educator'.
Who is it for?
- Newly/recently appointed lecturers (0–3 years experience)
- Early career lecturers adjusting to teaching, assessment, and institutional expectations
- Those seeking peer support, confidence-building, and practical teaching ideas
- Those who are on probation or induction programmes and/or completing teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCert HE, Fellowship routes)

This is a discussion based café, so come prepared to ask questions and join the conversation.
