The Isle of Man is a self-governing jurisdiction with its own Government and national health service, independent from the UK. Serving a community of around 85,000, our Occupational Therapists enjoy manageable caseloads, supportive teams and the freedom to provide truly person-centred care.
As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist within our Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Service, you’ll play a key role in helping patients recover from cardiac events or manage long-term respiratory conditions. Working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, including Physiotherapists and wider healthcare colleagues, you’ll deliver evidence-based, holistic care that supports physical, psychological and social recovery.
You’ll independently manage a varied caseload, delivering both individual and group-based therapy sessions that may include stress and anxiety management, pacing, pulmonary rehabilitation and vocational rehabilitation, empowering patients to regain confidence, independence and wellbeing.
With opportunities to contribute to service development, mentor junior staff and collaborate closely with the Band 7 Occupational Therapist, this role offers a rewarding balance of clinical practice, patient education and team collaboration within an innovative and supportive environment.
If you have a strong foundation in acute care and the confidence to lead group education for cardiac or pulmonary needs, this role offers a rewarding next step in your career.
