Wrexham’s Occupational Therapy Team is driven by one clear purpose: Making a Difference. We work alongside the people of Wrexham using a strengths‑based approach that empowers individuals to have voice and control, and to live as independently as possible.

We are looking for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team, with the passion and potential to deliver a full range of assessments and interventions. This includes reablement, moving and handling, providing advice and support to carers, and the assessment and provision of equipment and adaptations to help people achieve their wellbeing outcomes.

If you are enthusiastic about continually improving services for older people, vulnerable adults, children, young people and their families, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day while supporting individuals to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.

You will work within a supportive structure led by HCPC‑registered OT managers who value the profession, champion high‑quality practice and provide responsive professional supervision.

Our team is innovative, ambitious, and committed to continuous improvement. We encourage professional development and offer opportunities to gain experience across a range of areas within our centralised OT service.

You will also benefit from:

  • Access to a wide range of training through our Workforce Development Team.
  • Agile working arrangements, including up to two days per week working from home.
  • A modern, welcoming base at the Wellbeing Hub in Wrexham town centre.
  • A strong culture of peer support, supervision, and open communication.

Higher starting salary for the right candidate. An Enhanced DBS check and HCPC registration are required for this role.
