An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and enthusiastic Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Stroke Therapy Service at Peterborough City Hospital. The overall stroke pathway comprises of a HASU and ASU at Peterborough City Hospital and acute beds at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. The position is mainly at Peterborough City Hospital however flexibility will be required to provide cross-site cover.
You will be required to manage a varied and complex clinical caseload and be able to provide person-centred evidence-based stroke rehabilitation, this will include you to participate in the supervision, development and training of students, registered staff and support workers, be involved in service development and clinical audit.
Regular supervision, training and development opportunities will be provided to ensure personal career development.
Weekend and bank holiday working will be required.
Interviews for this role will be conducted in person to assess relevant practical skills effectively.
