Take the lead in advancing Occupational Therapy services for adults with disabilities. The Sunrise Adult Training Centre is seeking an experienced clinician and team leader to guide therapeutic programmes, support and develop staff, and promote greater independence, inclusion and participation for its clients.

The post holder will oversee the planning and delivery of person-centred therapeutic programmes designed to promote independence, inclusion and quality of life. Responsibilities will include managing and mentoring the Occupational Therapy team, conducting client assessments, developing treatment plans, monitoring client progress, delivering training to stakeholders, and working closely with families, caregivers and multidisciplinary professionals.

The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and have completed the relevant certification requirements to practise as a registered Occupational Therapist in Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States or the Caribbean. The candidate must also be eligible for registration in the Cayman Islands through the Council for Professions Allied to Medicine.

Applicants should demonstrate a broad range of professional training, have at least three years’ experience working with adult learners with special needs, and possess a minimum of four years’ supervisory experience. A proven ability to build effective teams, mentor staff and support high levels of performance is essential.
