Each award highlights a different way we’re working to support, represent and connect our members.

We’re proud to share that we have won four awards at the Memcom Excellence Awards 2025, including the prestigious Grand Prix Award.

The Memcom Excellence Awards celebrate innovation, creativity and impact across the professional membership sector. They recognise organisations, teams and individuals who are delivering outstanding work for their members and wider communities. We were recognised across multiple categories, reflecting the strength and reach of our work and the vital role our members play in shaping and driving it forward.

We’re especially grateful to the many members who contributed to the work behind these awards. From the EDB affinity groups who co-produced our Equity, Diversity and Belonging Strategy, to those who helped shape the messaging for our Power of OT campaign, and our Learner Ambassadors who are building connections and driving engagement across universities, your insight, energy and leadership have been central to this success.

Each award highlights a different way we’re working to support, represent and connect our members, from inclusion and public awareness to student engagement. Our focus remains firmly on delivering meaningful value for members and championing the profession.

Thank you to our colleagues and members for your insight, energy and ongoing support. These awards are a reflection of what we’ve achieved together and of our continued commitment to supporting you and strengthening the profession.

We received awards for:

Best Inclusion Initiative – Equity, Diversity and Belonging Strategy

This award recognises the impact of our EDB Strategy, which is helping us become a more inclusive, representative and equitable organisation. Co-produced with members and embedded across governance, staff culture and member engagement, the strategy reflects our commitment to lasting change.

Best Public Awareness Campaign – Power of OT: transforming health and social care

This award celebrates the reach and impact of our 2024/25 Power of OT campaign, which positioned occupational therapy as a vital solution in health and social care. Through strategic storytelling, member engagement and targeted advocacy, the campaign helped raise awareness and influence decision-makers.

Best Membership Support – Learner Ambassadors programme

This award recognises the success of our Learner Ambassador scheme – a peer-led initiative that’s transforming how we connect with students and apprentices. With 41 ambassadors across 55 universities, the programme is helping to build a vibrant, inclusive network that supports recruitment, engagement and belonging.

Grand Prix Award – for overall excellence

The Grand Prix Award is given to the organisation that scores highest across all categories, based on independent judges’ scores. It cannot be entered directly and is awarded based on the strength and consistency of entries. This recognition reflects the breadth and impact of our work across the organisation.
