Watch: 'Future of GPs inquiry' - Welsh OTs into primary practice
On Thursday 2 October, OT Kim Willis gave evidence to the Welsh Senedd committee inquiry on the future of occupational therapists in GP surgeries.
Currently, only half of GP clusters in Wales have some type of access to OT. We want to see an OT in every primary care cluster and network across Wales with a focus on prevention. We're supporting the drive to get more OTs into Welsh primary practices.
Tune in
If you didn't get to watch Kim Willis give supporting evidence at the Senedd 'Inquiry you can catch up on some of the key moments.
This Senedd inquiry is a great opportunity to showcase what OTs can achieve in primary care. By working with GP practices in the community, OTs are putting into action our aim of having a health service with a dedicated focus on prevention and early intervention."
