Would you like an RCOT representative to speak at your event or join your group?

We’re often invited to take part in external workstreams, advisory groups and events - whether that’s speaking, joining a working group or hosting a stand at a conference.

These opportunities help keep RCOT connected, informed and influential, and make sure our members are shaping the spaces where occupational therapy makes an impact.

We review representation requests monthly, on a case-by-case basis. While we’re not able to accept every request, we prioritise those that align with our strategy and workforce priorities, and that offer the greatest impact for occupational therapy

Events and conferences

RCOT staff and members also share their knowledge, lived experience and insights by speaking at events and conferences. We also occasionally support representatives to host stands at conferences. If you’d like to request a representative from RCOT to speak or host a stand at your event or conference, please complete our RCOT representation request form.

Education providers

We receive a lot of requests from education providers (universities) to speak at events and to deliver sessions. We hold regular sessions to both promote and maximise using your RCOT membership at different points in a learners’ studies. Visit our Maximise your membership page to find out more.

RCOT staff and members contribute their knowledge, lived experience and insights to inform decisions, influence policy and ensure that occupational therapy is visible, valued and actively shaping the future of health, care, education and related sectors.
