Proud to partner with RCOT

PG Mutual is pleased to be working in partnership with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) to help occupational therapists build greater financial resilience.

RCOT is the professional body for the occupational therapy workforce, while PG Mutual is a not-for-profit, member-owned society that has been protecting professionals’ incomes for over 90 years. As organisations that both put people before profit, this partnership brings together shared values around wellbeing, professionalism and long-term security.

Through this partnership, PG Mutual and RCOT aim to support occupational therapists to better understand their holistic financial wellbeing, including how income protection can help safeguard earnings if illness or injury prevents them from working.

The partnership will include educational activity such as a webinar focused on building financial resilience, alongside support for RCOT’s Independent Practice guide in 2026.

Occupational therapists play a vital role in supporting the health, independence and wellbeing of others, often in roles where their own income can be vulnerable if they are unable to work due to illness or injury. Through our partnership with RCOT, we want to help occupational therapists feel more informed and confident about their financial resilience, by providing clear education, practical support and an understanding of how income protection can help provide stability when it’s needed most.
