We're helping to make sure occupational therapy is visible in key decisions across Wales – and we want you to be part of that momentum too.

The Senedd has been in recess, but our engagement hasn’t taken a holiday

At the start of August, Gareth Evans started as the new Chief Allied Health Professions (AHP) Officer in Welsh Government.

We’re delighted to have met with Gareth, and we’re looking forward to working with him closely to showcase occupational therapy across Wales.

For me, the quieter summer months politically gave me a chance to catch up with members. It was a real pleasure to be invited to the Cardiff University Master of Science (MSc) occupational therapy and physiotherapy symposium day and to quiz the occupational therapists of the future on their poster presentations.

August has also enabled us to plan some interesting events for members – take a look below and please do get involved.
