Changes are coming to EBSCO databases in your Digital Library
If you have saved searches, take action today!
EBSCO platforms (which host our databases, CINAHL and Medline, and some of our online books and journals) are moving to new interfaces on Tuesday 5 August 2025.
This will change how you:
- create folders
- save searches
- save items.
What won’t change:
- how you access the databases or full texts.
What to do if you have saved searches
If you’ve added items to custom folders, saved your search strings or created automated alerts on your EBSCOhost account, you’ll need to act before 11.59pm, Monday 4 August 2025 to make sure you don't lose access following the migration.
You’ll need to save your work, or move items and save searches to a secure folder on the EBSCO platform before the change on Tuesday 5 August 2025.
How to save your searches
Follow the guidance from EBSCO below to make sure your saved items are not lost.
- Moving saved searches (5 minute video)
- Saving and exporting items (4 minute video)
- Accessing MyEBSCO data from EBSCO's new user interfaces (how to webpage)
