Occupational therapy careers campaign
Thank you for your interest, but this form is now closed.
There will be many more opportunities to get involved in our career campaign during Occupational Therapy week 2020.
Occupational Therapy Week 2020, which will take place between 2-8 November, will focus on securing the future workforce and increasing diversity within the profession.
As part of the week’s activities, we will be running a campaign directed at school students. It will feature occupational therapists talking about their reasons for choosing the profession and the paths they’ve taken to get there. The campaign will be run on social media and there could also be opportunities to share the stories with the media.
We are looking for six occupational therapists to promote as case studies; could you be one of them?
Given the current COVID-19 restrictions we will be recording audio from each individual and combine it with animation to create the video. Recording will take place in September, we’ll work with each person to make the process as easy as possible. We will also ask for a photograph to use in the campaign.
If there is an opportunity for your story to be shared in the media, the first thing we will do is discuss it with you and confirm you are happy to go ahead.
All applications will be reviewed and the final selection will be based on the stories that individuals have to share and achieving a diverse representation of occupational therapists across the campaign.
