Occupational Therapy Week 2024

The power of OT – transforming health and social care

Through this campaign, we will create a better understanding of occupational therapy, its role in health and social care and how the occupational therapy workforce needs to be positioned in the future. Launched in OT Week 2024, this campaign continues to run until October 2025.

We’ll help you to tell the story of occupational therapy, and support you to be spokespeople and changemakers locally, nationally and globally on social media.

  • Use the campaign resources to talk about OT and it’s valuable role in occupational therapy. In the pack, you’ll find a narrative, graphics, posters and a presentation.
  • The resources which helped promote OT Week 2024 are no longer available to download.  New resources will be available later in 2025 to promote the next OT Week.

As an occupational therapist, there are many ways you can raise the profile of occupational therapy.

On our profile-raising toolkit, you’ll find guidance and tools to help you:

  1. prepare your story
  2. act local
  3. be a media spokesperson
  4. influence decision-makers
  5. get social
