Profile-raising campaigns

One of the ways we can help people to understand the power of occupational therapy is through marketing campaigns. Our campaigns each have a specific focus and aim and bring together our marketing efforts in a cohesive strategic way. We work with members to develop and deliver the campaigns. They provide members with resources to raise the profile of occupational therapy.

Occupational Therapy Week

Occupational Therapy Week (OT Week) is our national awareness-raising campaign dedicated to celebrating the life-changing power of occupational therapy.

Each OT Week campaign will build understanding year-on-year to position the OT workforce where they will have maximum impact – as set out in our Workforce Strategy

OT Week 26: Participation Changes Everything

OT Week starts on 2 November 2026 with Participation Changes Everything. Participation is essential to health, wellbeing and quality of life, helping people learn, work, connect with others and take part in everyday life. Throughout the week, we'll showcase the key role occupational therapists play in enabling participation, raise the profile of the profession and strengthen understanding of its contribution to prevention, participation and person-centred support.
