The Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (AMPS) is an innovative observational assessment that is used to measure the quality of a person's activities of daily living (ADL).
This is assessed by rating the effort, efficiency, safety, and independence of 16 ADL motor and 20 ADL process skill items, within the context of performing chosen, familiar, and life-relevant ADL tasks. AMPS training comprises a five day AMPS training course, and follow up testing of 10 people to achieve rater reliability as an AMPS rater.
AMPS course participants will receive:
- five-day AMPS training course
- the current AMPS Manual
- a personalised AMPS computer scoring program, provided to trained raters at completion of the course
