Council is carrying out a review of our governance, looking at the rules and systems that guide how we’re run as an organisation. In these drop-ins they’ll talk you through our current governance and why changes are needed, not just for legal compliance, but for the benefit of members and the OT profession as a whole.
We have big ambitions for the occupational therapy profession, and to be able to achieve them we need our governance to be fit for purpose and future-proof. We need it to be effective so that we’re a more responsive, focused and efficient organisation, able to deliver the greatest impact we possibly can.
We know governance can be complicated. Come to a drop in and Council will demystify it! They’ll talk through why we need to change, what the proposed changes are and how they’ll benefit you. They want to hear your thoughts on the proposals and answer any questions you have.
Other drop ins are on Monday 22 April at 6.00-7.30pm and Tuesday 21 May at 12.00-1.30pm. Book for these dates through our events page.
