Scottish Eastern Region are offering an exciting opportunity for RCOT regional members to attend an event that takes a glimpse into the future of Occupational Therapy and how digital technology is supporting our roles in promoting Independence.
You will have the opportunity to look at supportive Digital Technologies which are readily available on the market, to promote safety and independence at home. There will also be an opportunity to learn about the advances in technology and what the future may look like with the help of technology and robotics, with a talk and tour of the National Robotarium.
There will also be a talk on The Life Curve and how this can be used to keep people as fit and independent at home as possible.
Our New Policy and Public Affairs Lead for Scotland, Katie MacGregor, will be in attendance to introduce herself and discuss changes ahead for Scotland, so please take advantage of this face to face meeting with her.
This event is open to all RCOT regional members, Community Occupational Therapists, Hospital Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Occupational Therapists, Student Occupational Therapists and all that are interested in the development in technology in health and care.
Lunch will be provided along with teas and coffees and some sweet treats, throughout the day. Dietary requirement required by 1st May 2024.
