Return to practice webinar 1: potential supervisors and employers

This webinar is for RCOT members and their employers to promote the importance of supporting occupational therapists to return to practice.

Every organisation wants to recruit, develop and retain a motivated workforce. Supporting returners can help employers to build their capacity and capability to effectively deliver current and future services.

The webinar will cover topics such as:

• What is a return to practice programme? 
• Why should we support returners? 
• How can supporting returners improve recruitment and retention? 
• What does the returner need to do? 
• What status can the returner have? 
• Who can provide supervision? 
• Level of supervision 
• Promoting employing organisations to returners 

The webinar is being run by RCOT and will include contributions from Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Health Education England (HEE).
