Specialist Section - Neurological Practice – E journal club

Open to all SSNP members who would like to increase confidence with their critical appraisal skills. You will need to read and appraise an article to discuss in small groups.

Members are asked to pre-read an article (shared after registration) considering questions from a pre-selected standardised critical appraisal tool. We will then facilitate small groups appraising the article in detail and a wider group discussion of findings. We will finish with sharing reflections on implications for practice.

Learning objectives:

1. To discuss an article of clinical relevance with other members using a standardised appraisal tool.
2. To increase confidence with appraising the methodological merits of the article.
3. To apply this knowledge by reflecting on and sharing implications for practice.
