Working hours: 37 hours per week, term time only, plus five inset days, plus two weeks
Chiltern Wood School is an expanding special school currently supporting 190 plus, students ranging from ages 3 to 19 years. The school is located over two sites in Cressex and Downley, formally Chiltern Gate and Maplewood Schools. The governing body are looking to recruit a band six occupational therapist to support with the assessment of our young people and assist with the provision of occupational therapy within a team, under the supervision of a highly specialist therapist. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, planning and implementing therapeutic strategies to support a wide range of functional motor and sensory needs.
Experience of working with pupils with learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder, and a wide range of complex needs is essential.
