The Social Prescribing Student Champion Scheme is once again inviting AHP students to its champion programme, after a highly successful first year following integration with medical students into the Scheme.
They’re inviting AHP students to get involved with promoting Social Prescribing in universities, and across AHP communities nationwide.
Through the scheme, you’ll have access to:
- a library of resources for promoting Social Prescribing and the occupational therapy profession’s part in it
- support and mentoring from practising healthcare professionals and link workers
- the opportunity for multi-disciplinary work with students from across all healthcare professions.

The Social Prescribing Student Champion Scheme are also looking for qualified AHPs with an active interest in social prescribing to get involved in mentoring their champions.
