On July 13th we will be publishing a new report which will highlight how deploying occupational therapists in social care helps people to live, not just exist and we need your help to tell the world about it! We are asking everyone to harness the power of their social media accounts by signing up for our thunderclap. Its free, quick and easy to do.
What is a Thunderclap campaign?
Thunderclap is a website that allows a group of people to sign up to Tweet or send a Facebook message all at exactly the same time, on the same day. This gives the message maximum exposure and impact. All you need to do is agree to support the campaign, by clicking on the 'support with FACEBOOK / TWITTER / TUMBLR' buttons and then the website will send the message at the agreed time for you. You can think of this as an online flash mob to promote the value of occupational therapists in improving the social care system.
How do I get involved?
Go to the Thunderclap website and choose ‘Support with Twitter or ‘Support with Facebook’ – or choose both! Then add your name to the Thunderclap and on July 13, everyone who has signed up will automatically post on Facebook or Twitter supporting the RCOT's call for a social care system that helps people to #LiveNotExist with a link to the campaign website.
