We are excited to announce that our brand new website will be launching on Tuesday 16th May! Please be assured that members who are registered on the old website will be able to log in as normal on the new site.
The new site was developed following an extensive period of member research, both online and offline, which saw the development team embark on a series of UK roadshows across 10 cities in all four countries. The roadshows were extremely well attended by a mix of practising occupational therapists working across a wide range of specialisms and different levels of seniority. Also represented were retired members, students, employers, occupational therapists working in education, and members of RCOT committees and regional groups.
"The site is the first step in how we develop our digital tools" said RCOT Digital Manager, James Patterson. “We want to ensure that they are always accessible, user friendly and of real value to members."
So, what’s new? You told us that you wanted a site with a clearer and more user-friendly structure and we hope you’ll agree that the new site delivers just that. Menus and layouts have been redesigned to be more intuitive for members and we hope you will be able to find the content that you need quickly and easily. The new website also offers an improved search function, as well as a mobile friendly design which means that you will be able to navigate seamlessly across mobiles, tablets and PCs.
If you are attending Annual Conference 2017 in Birmingham on 19th and 20th June then please come and see us at the RCOT stand, where members of the digital team will be giving demos of the new website and answering any questions you might have.
This new website marks the first stage of a bright new digital future for RCOT. We would love to hear your thoughts on the new design, so please visit rcot.co.uk after Tuesday 16th May and contact us on Web.Team@rcot.co.uk if you have any feedback.
