How to access journals as a member of RCOT

If you're a member of the RCOT, you can access the British, American, Australian and Canadian journals of occupational therapy free of charge.

In each case, you first need to log in to this website, before clicking through to the journals. This is so the journals' websites can identify you as an RCOT member.

I'm already logged in, how do I access the journal links?

Access the journals via these pages on the RCOT website (located in the menu at Practice Resources > Journals):

I'm an RCOT member, but I can't log into this website

If you've never logged into our website before you'll need to register yourself, even if you're already a member of the Royal College. You'll need your membership number (starting with 'BT'), and the email address that you gave us as part of your membership details.

If you already have a web account but can't log in, you can try resetting your password. If that doesn't help, it might be that we have an out-of-date email address for you on our system, or it might be that your account was on our old website and needs updating. I've got a direct article link but I can't get the full article, even though I'm an RCOT member

We do need you to access the journals via this website, so that the journal websites know you're an RCOT member. So clicking a direct journal website link that's been emailed to you, or which you found through a search engine, might not work. The solution is to go back to the RCOT webpages and access the journal's homepage from there:

Once you're through to the journal's homepage, you can use its search box to look for the particular article you wanted.
