The Challenge
Our Tayside staff meetings were very much led by the chair with a long agenda set by the chair and very little engagement from staff. Feedback from staff was that they found the meetings long and often did not retain the information shared.
The Change
Over the course of several months we moved the running of the staff meetings to a senior team and now we have a working group of all bandings across Tayside who plan, facilitate and even organise the refreshments!
The Impact
We now have much more interactive meetings with topics staff are interested in and asking for. Feedback is much more positive and the meetings are much more productive helping us to drive forward service redesign in line with Ready to Act.
