The Challenge
I’m new in post and noticed the individuals in the team would benefit from learning together and broaden their skillset, to support more integrated working.
The Change
I have initiated a monthly in-service training program. Team members will contribute to both the teaching and participate in learning. Time is ring-fenced and staff are encouraged to suggest and arrange topics/speakers.
The Impact
Staff will better understand each other’s skills and our knowledge will be shared. The team will spend time together and develop as a group. Confidence and competence will grow, as will our identity as a team. Morale will increase.
