Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability
The Sensory Modality and Rehabilitation Technique (SMART) is a standardised tool for the assessment of patients with prolonged Disorders of Consciousness (DOC).
The intensive course is designed for senior neurological clinicians.
Delegates will develop the skills and knowledge to be competent in the observation and assessment of patients with DOC and is the first step to gaining accreditation as a SMART assessor.
