This is your opportunity to explore our Workforce Strategy – the path our profession will take over the next 10 years – with your professional body.  

Our workforce strategy – that touches every element of OT – sets out how occupational therapy needs to change to have maximum impact.  

By 2035, we need to have an occupational therapy workforce that is: 

• equipped to focus on prevention and early intervention    
• based primarily within communities    
• confident and skilled in championing inclusion and     occupational justice   
• empowering people to pursue the occupations that they value.   

To harness the opportunities, we need to:  

• be bold and confident in our expertise 
• take our seat at the local and national planning table  
• drive innovation and learning with funding 
• influence and develop international practice  
• base ourselves primarily within communities. 

We're only going to get there by working together, sharing your innovation stories and looking forward.
