Abingdon House School accommodates a variety of needs and provisions through our specialist approach within a mainstream styled school. We cater for primary and secondary aged students with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyspraxia, autistic spectrum condition, and social communication difficulties.
We are looking to hire OTs at our Prep School in South Kensington and Senior School in Marylebone, and at our sister sites: Abingdon House School Purley, and Chelsea Hall School in Earlsfield.
About the role
In this role, you’ll deliver therapy and education programmes based on pupils’ individual needs at AHS. This will include preparation, delivery, and evaluation of support programmes, and delivery and assessment of pupil interventions in and outside of school. You’ll also deliver regular assessments and progress reports, and participate in appraisals and clinical and management supervision as and when required. In addition, you’ll contribute to and support all aspects of school life, helping with safeguarding both on the school premises and during school outings and other activities.
Essential qualifications and experience
- Qualified OT
- HCPC registration
- Experience working with SEN children
