The Challenge
I looked at my own practice to reduce any possible transmission of Covid-19 to our vulnerable patients and their families.
The Change
Home visits have typically been completed by the therapist in the person's home with a family member/friend. With the ease of access to a range of video calling platforms I decided to complete an access visit via video link.
The Impact
Completing the home access visit via video enabled me to gain the same outcome as a face to face visit and also enabled me to gain back time that I would have otherwise lost with travel to and from the patients home as well as reducing transmission
